Suburban Legends Vol. II: Midnight on Main
I have finally decided… I’m starting my next book! I’m always writing a story here or there but I’ve been wondering where I wanted to go next. I feel as if I’m in a transitional place. I no longer truly care to make films but I need to have a larger project to aim my creativity.
I’m not done with Hampton, yet! I love my first book… a very loose connection of stories that all help build the mythos of my little town but now I want to take the time to try and really flesh things out. To make an underlying theme. My first book was about the cracks in the sidewalk, this book is about what is trying to seep through.
I want to focus on the changing times politically, socially and supernaturally. I want to lose the soft veneer of Southern Hospitality and show the world as I see it. I love my town, warts and all… and boy, how I love that it is always an inspiration.
I’ve got a few stories started already. From the town lofts that need to be renovated and the poor handyman who discovers that they are constantly changing every time he closes a door to a twisted city council that enacts a ridiculous noise ordinance that prohibits all noise above a whisper after 9:00 pm. I’m excited to see where all of this goes.
Imagine Erie Indiana mixed with In the Mouth of Madness and written with all the southern charm I can muster. I love my episodic ways!
Anyways, stay tuned as I start this new project and send all the good vibes you can! A new book is underway!

That's great news! Can't wait to read it!
